Law firm raises over RM45,000 in crowdfunding for Mongolian woman’s case against ex-cop | The Star

PETALING JAYA: A law firm has successfully raised more than RM45,000 to help a Mongolian woman refile a civil action suit against a former police inspector whom she alleged had violated her. Through a crowdfunding campaign called “Help a Mongolian Victim Get Justice in Malaysia”, the firm managed to raise RM46,500 in a fortnight for Mongolian national Nandine-Erdene Khoskhulug. The Chapmans are the most amazing family, there daughter Kiera has a very rare chromosome disorder called 1p36 deletion syndrome which leaves her severely disabled.Last year Kiera’s dad Steve passed away after a strong fight with cancer, leaving the family heartbroken & devastated. This year Kiera’s mother has also passed away after also battling cancer, I can not imagine the heartbreak for this family, and now the Chapmans other 2 children Kodie & Kyle have the difficult task of becoming Kiera’s main carers, whilst still grieving for both there  parents. Kickstarter suspended the Anime Tube crowdfunding campaign on Friday.
