We are looking to raise funds to say thank you to all of the volunteer organisations involved in the brave rescue of our beloved dog Ben who was trapped on a ledge in the Cairngorms during heavy storms for over 48 hours. Ben was out on his usual adventures when he became separated from us and as the storms set in we were heartbroken to have to abandon our searches. We were overwhlemed by all the people who shared our posts, the messages of support, hopes and prayers for our boy Ben and all the amazing people who volunteered to help you really kept us going through such a devasting time for our family. We are so grateful for all the amazing caring people in the world and the Scottish spirit!
Special thanks, and the reason for this crowdfunding effort, to the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team, Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK, Walter Hutton (the drone pilot), Gary Gray and Robert Lesley McComb from Scottish Hill Walking and Wild Camping, and the Inverness Coastguard crew of Maritime and Coastguard Agency who pulled our boy Ben to safety. Also to Glenmore Lodge and Strathspey Veterinary Centre for the immediate aftercare of Ben.
We are so thankful and cannot express our gratitude enough. All those with pets of any kind know how big a part of the family they are and we are so glad to have Ben home again where he will continue to receive so much love and cuddles from us.
Any donations for these amazing people would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and much love
